Investigation Centering On Propane Tank

CLARION, Pa. -- A Clarion County teen is in a Pittsburgh hospital with burns suffered when his house exploded.A state police fire marshal is investigating the explosion that happened about 5 a.m. Tuesday in Perry Township, near Clarion.A relative drove 14-year-old Brandon Corle and his mother, Shauna, to Clarion Hospital, before the boy was taken by ambulance to West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.Brandon is listed in stable condition and emergency officials said Shauna Corle was no longer being treated by Tuesday afternoon.Brandon and his mother were the only ones home during the blast. The investigation is centering on a propane tank.
