Rescue Crews Save Dogs Trapped In Icy Water

Dogs Not Injured, Returned To Owner

Two dogs were rescued from chilly waters early Thursday afternoon.

A park ranger donned a wet suit to single handedly rescue the dogs from the Yellow Creek Spillway.

Chopper 11 flew over the dramtic scene just as the rescue unfolded.

The ranger was able to carry and gently placing both dogs into a waiting pontoon boat. One of the dogs kept jumping back out and had to be rounded up again.
