An unlikely visitor surprised residents and employees at a care facility in Greensburg on Wednesday.

A deer crashed through a window at the Oak Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center along Georges Station Road around 4:30 p.m.

No one was hurt, but some furniture was overturned before a wildlife officer tranquilized the button buck.

Joe Stefko, of the Pennsylvania Game Commission, said, "This is the deer season right now currently and white tail deer are moving around a lot. And with the snow that we just got, they are foraging and moving from their traditional areas in search of food."

The deer was taken to a remote location, where it will be monitored and released if it is OK.
