PITTSBURGH -- Steelers fans who have Armstrong Cable weren't able to watch much of the Steelers-Patriots game on Sunday.

A problem on Armstrong Cable's end cut service for many fans who congregated at area bars so they could see the biggest game of the regular season.

Our attempt to call the cable company ended with us on hold for about a half hour, and fans who called Channel 11 reported similar waits to file their complaints.

Several fans told Channel 11 that they would be switching their providers at the next available opportunity.

Armstrong Cable issued the following statement on Monday: "We sincerely regret the inconvenience this caused out subscribers. We appreciate our customers. We apologize.
