No One Hurt In Blaze

POSTED: 8:13 am EST January 28, 2008

A candle is being blamed for a two-alarm fire in a Mt. Lebanon home overnight.

The flames started in the basement of the home around 11:50 p.m. Sunday on Woodhaven Drive.

Officials said a candle set several towels on fire. The fire was already out by the time firefighters arrived at the scene.

Firefighter Nick Sohyda said, “The two dogs are OK. Everybody got out fine. Police were here real fast.”

One woman was treated for smoke inhalation. Her name and condition are not known.
