Pittsburgh Teacher Faces Charges

PITTSBURGH -- Richard Eidam, an auto mechanics teacher at Parkway West Career Technical Center, is accused of sexual assaulting some of his students.The 55-year-old man turned himself in Tuesday morning at Judge Anthony Saveikis’s office along Steubenville Pike.The 15- and 16-year-old victims claim Eidam hugged and kissed them in a classroom.Eidam faces three counts of indecent assault, two counts of corruption of minors and two counts of endangering the welfare of children.He has been teaching for 15 years and is married with children.SCHOOL'S RESPONSE:
