A woman who resigned as a teacher's aide after police said they found her in a hotel room with drugs, alcohol and minors has now been charged by police.

New Kensington police said they arrested 34-year-old Abbiejane Swogger, of Natrona, on felony crack cocaine possession charges and corruption of minors.

Swogger has denied wrongdoing. But she resigned as an aide to a special needs student in the Highlands School District on Monday after media reports about the police raid at the hotel room on Friday.

Police said they found 9.5 grams of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia in the Clarion Inn room registered to Swogger. Three teens were also present.

Swogger told Channel 11 News Monday that she was at the hotel with a girlfriend when her son showed up with friends and she didn't turn them away, she allowed them to stay.

"I'm innocent and I want people to know I did not serve underage people alcohol. I did not do that and I'm not having sex with an underager," said Swogger.
