PITTSBURGH -- Detectives at Pittsburgh police headquarters said they have been bothered by the case from the start; and now they’ve arrested a 29-year-old mother in connection with the fire that killed her son.Mia Marshman was arrested and taken into custody Thursday morning and charged with involuntary manslaughter and endangering the welfare of children.Detectives told Channel 11 Marshman was to blame for the March 4 fire that swept through her Winslow Street home in Larimer, killing 6-year-old Isiah.Police said Isiah was rescued from a second-floor bedroom, along with a 2-year-old girl, but Isiah was in cardiac arrest at the scene and died a short time later. The other child survived along with Marshman's 8-month-old son.City police said Marshman was high and drunk when she started a grease fire in her first-floor kitchen.
