HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Police are looking for a driver after a fatal hit and run in Westmoreland County.The accident happened around 2:30 a.m. Monday on Route 30 in Hempfield Township, right next to the Home Depot.The victim, 18-year-old Christopher Allen Hays, of Grapeville, was pushing his bicycle when he was hit.Hays had just finished his shift at Taco Bell and was headed home. Police said he was struck 0.2 miles from his house.Police said the car involved is a newer-model white Dodge Durango with front-end damage. The driver was headed west on Route 30 toward Jeannette.Anyone with information is asked to call police.
