CRANBERRY -- It's a gold rush in Butler County.With gold prices at an all time high, dealers and the public are taking advantage.A three-day event at the Fairfield Inn on Rt. 19 in Cranberry encourages people to bring in their broken and unwanted gold and other jewelry.The jewelers there are promising to pay cash for 10, 14, 18 and 22 karat gold, along with dental gold, silver coins, sterling silver flatware, wedding rings, class rings and platinum.The gold rush at the Fairfield Inn runs through Saturday.Call 724-614-0001 for more details.
