PITTSBURGH -- A jury was told to keep deliberating on Friday until they made a life or death decision.At stake, the punishment for a farmhand convicted in a 12-year-old girl's murder.The jury decided Friday afternoon that 51-year-old Jeffrey Martin should be sentenced to death.Gabrielle Bechen was raped and strangled before her body was buried on a Greene County farm in June of 2006.Thursday, jurors convicted Martin of all counts.Prosecutors claim Martin killed Bechen when she threatened to tell her parents he molested her.
