PITTSBURGH -- Extra school police were on hand at Minadeo Wednesday morning as police look for a man accused of groping student safety guards. The students were helping children cross the streets Tuesday afternoon when a young man in his 20s began touching the girls in an inappropriate manner.School leaders said the incident happened around the time students were getting out for the afternoon. The time of day made it even scarier for parents.Parent Keisha Durham said, "That's unbelievable. I didn't even know it was at dismissal time. It's just very bold, very bold for somebody to do that at that time of day with all those people out it's very crowded at that time of day."“Tell them to always stay with a group of people and with their teacher, and if they see anyone suspicious let someone know,” parent Bethany Barker said. Some parents said they have told their children to wait inside the school if they have not yet arrived.School leaders said no one was hurt during the incident.
