North Shore Casino Receives Final Push Needed To Finish Construction

PITTSBURGH -- On Wednesday, the North Shore Casino received its last bit of financing to finish construction.The last bit of funding came from Apollo Strategic Fund in the form of a $150 million commitment.Apollo was the same company involved in the purchase of Harrah’s entertainment, and Harrah’s was originally involved with the proposal to build a casino at Station Square.The North Shore Casino is set to open in May of 2009.
