McKeesport Area Students Pull Costly Senior Prank

Thursday, May 29, 2008

Nine seniors at McKeesport Area High School were apprehended on the evening of Monday, May 26, while pulling a senior prank.

The students were in the midst of injecting liquid adhesive into numerous door locks inside the school when they were caught by security guards. While the guards prevented any further damage and were able to remove some of the adhesive from the locks, the students, in total, caused nearly $3000 in damages that they will be made to pay back.

The students took part in an administrative hearing on Wednesday, May 28, where they learned that they would be forced to pay back the damages but would be able to graduate with fellow classmates.

Administration, through a news release, said that, "District officials are confident that the students involved realize the consequences of their actions."
