Two People Injured When Car Hits Utility Pole

PENN HILLS, Pa. -- Police are investigating a crash in Penn Hills that injured two people. Investigators say the driver lost control of his Mercedes just before 2 a.m. Tuesday. He drove through a number of yards before crashing into a utility pole.A neighbor in the area witnessed the crash and called 911. Ciecie Killebrew said, “I saw two bodies, a man and a woman inside the car, and they were in pretty bad shape.”When emergency crews arrived, they found both victims with facial and possible internal injuries. Police said they found a considerable amount of drugs and money inside the car.The driver and passenger are being treated at UPMC Presbyterian. No word was available on whether police plan to file any charges.
