Driver Facing Questions After Penn Hills Crash

Two People Injured When Car Hits Utility Pole

Police are investigating a crash in Penn Hills that injured two people. Investigators say the driver lost control of his Mercedes just before 2 a.m. Tuesday. He drove through a number of yards before crashing into a utility pole.

A neighbor in the area witnessed the crash and called 911. Ciecie Killebrew said, “I saw two bodies, a man and a woman inside the car, and they were in pretty bad shape.”

When emergency crews arrived, they found both victims with facial and possible internal injuries. Police said they found a considerable amount of drugs and money inside the car.

The driver and passenger are being treated at UPMC Presbyterian. No word was available on whether police plan to file any charges.
