LOWER BURRELL, Pa. -- A shopping trip in Westmoreland County turned dangerous for one woman when she was dragged across the parking lot in a mugging.

Patricia Mascarello, 65, said she was about to go grocery shopping at Hillcrest Shopping Center when she felt a bump as she walked in the parking lot.

She said the suspects tugged a second time and got a hold of her purse.

Police said the suspects, Terry Roth, 21, and Frank Gregus, 18, were in a car and wound up dragging Mascarello along the parking lot pavement before they took off with the purse.

Witnesses alerted police, who tracked down the suspects in the woods behind a trailer.

Roth and Gregus face robbery, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, theft and related charges.

Mascarello said she is bruised on her arm and knee and has a black eye.
