Pittsburgh police announced the arrest of a man who they say is connected to the shooting deaths of two men on Saturday night in Lincoln-Lemington.

Allan Moorefield, 42, is charged with homicide, criminal conspiracy, and carrying a firearm without a license.

The victims were found at the intersection of Apple and Grotto Streets just after 6:00 p.m.

When police arrived, they found two men dead inside of a tan Chrysler Town and Country van.

One victim was in the front passenger seat and one in the rear passenger seat.

Police said Victory Security guards were doing a property check on Apple Street when they heard shots fired from the area of the van.

Victory Security guards began to follow the vehicle through the Homewood area and the car eventually returned to Apple Street where the driver and the other passenger abandoned the vehicle at Apple Street near Grotto.

The fleeing passenger was detained by the Victory Security Guards.

The driver fled to a wooded area.

Police dogs were called in to canvass the wooded area with no luck.

The identities of the two men who died were not released Saturday.

The vehicle was registereded to an owner in Beaver Falls, and had not been reported stolen.

Anyone with additional information is asked to call Pittsburgh Homicide at (412) 323-7800.
