Heat Forces Four Pittsburgh Libraries To Close Saturday

PITTSBURGH -- Four Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh locations will close Saturday due to the high heat and humidity level.Located in historic buildings, the libraries are not equipped with air conditioning.The Lawrenceville, Mount Washington, Southside and West End locations will close Saturday.Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh officials will evaluate weather conditions over the weekend and expect to reopen the libraries Monday.
