Man Shot Dead In Pittsburgh's North Side

PITTSBURGH -- Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting on Pittsburgh’s North Side Monday night.Police said a 31-year-old man was shot in the chest along Sandusky Street shortly before 10 p.m. The victim, whose name has not been released, ran a short distance before collapsing near Hemlock Street, police said.He died a short time later at Allegheny General Hospital.Investigators said they found two shell casings near the scene, but they aren’t releasing details in the case.Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
