Man Shot In McKeesport Runs To YMCA For Help

A man in McKeesport who was shot overnight ran to a nearby YMCA for help.

Police said the 48-year-old, whose name has not been released, was shot in the 500 block of Sinclair Street early Thursday morning.

At about 1:45 a.m., police arrived at the scene to discover that a man, who is in his 40s, had been shot from behind, and the bullet had pierced his inner thigh.

The shooting happened in a nearby parking lot, and the victim ran to the McKeesport YMCA for help.

The victim was flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital for treatment. There is no word on his condition.
