ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Ross Township police are searching for a purse snatcher who they said hit two businesses along McKnight Road.

Surveillance video from an Eat 'N Park restaurant shows a woman grabbing a purse from behind a counter and walking out. Police said the same woman unsuccessfully tried to steal a purse from someone at the Kuhn's grocery store.

Police describe the suspect as a woman in her 20s, standing about 5 feet 4 inches tall with long, black hair.

The getaway car is described as a green Jeep.

Witnesses said a man is driving the car, and there might be a small child in the back seat.
