Local Youth Baseball Coach Accused Of Mooning Umpire

A youth baseball coach in Fayette County is accused of mooning an umpire who ejected another coach.

Jeffrey Kelley, 32, is now facing disorderly conduct charges.

Police said he was coaching a game at a baseball field along Liberty Street in Georges Township on July 26 when the incident occurred.

According to WPXI's news exchange partner at the Herald-Standard, Kelley got into an argument with the umpire after another coach had been dismissed from the game. During the argument, Kelley allegedly pulled a portion of his pants down.

"The defendant did drop his pants and smack his buttocks in front of several parents and children," said Trooper Douglas Rush of the Pennsylvania State Police.

There is no word on whether Kelley has an attorney.
