Funeral Held For Teen Killed In Westmoreland Co. Crash

APOLLO, Pa. -- Funeral services were held Wednesday in Apollo for a teen killed in a crash Saturday in Allegheny Township, Westmoreland County.Emily Blystone, 17, was killed when her sport utility vehicle went off the road and slammed into a tree.On Monday, family and friends gathered at Apollo Ridge High School to honor Blystone.Blystone's family was just beginning to recover from the death of her father, who died in a roofing accident in November 2006."I just don't know how I'm going to go on," said Blystone's mother, Janet Blystone. "It's just going to be extremely hard. We were just starting to get the ground back underneath us from losing her dad. I just don't know how we're going to deal with this.""She was such a caring person," said Blystone's friend, Ashlee Pavetti. "I seriously don't know what I'm going to do."Blystone just received her junior driver's license eight months ago and was set to graduate from Lenape Technical School next year before leaving for Philadelphia to further her education.
