PITTSBURGH -- A car plunged over a hillside in Spring Hill. The car has been located, but its driver is nowhere to be found.

Police said that an undercover detective happened to be driving behind the vehicle in Spring Hill when its driver turned and drove his car into the hillside woods where he apparently jumped out and ran toward a nearby housing development.

According to police, the car is registered to a woman in Perrysville, Ohio but was not reported stolen. There were no drugs or weapons found in the vehicle.

Police said that they have no idea why the driver fled the vehicle and do not consider it to be an active pursuit at this time.
