Relatives of a man wanted in connection with a deadly Point Breeze shooting last week helped police make an arrest.

Jesse Engram, 19, is suspected of shooting Korey Johnson, 20, on Sept. 22 at the Sunoco A-Plus gas station along Penn Avenue.

Investigators issued an arrest warrant on Wednesday for Engram and worked with his family to make an arrest.

Family members took Engram to the Allegheny County Sheriff's Office early Friday evening, where he surrendered to deputies.

The sheriff's office then handed Engram over to Pittsburgh police.

Police said Johnson was the intended target of a shooting in April that killed a 12-year-old boy.

The boy, Kholen Germany, was killed in the crossfire inside a Wilkinsburg store. Two men are charged in that case.
