Elizabeth-Forward Student Remembered At Car Cruise

ELIZABETH, Pa. -- An Elizabeth-Forward High School student who died in a car crash was remembered during a special car cruise through his neighborhood.Joseph Fisher, 17, was killed in an accident just outside the high school last monthThe car cruise started at the Century III Mall and ended at the scene of the crash.Friends who organized the event said it is a great way to remember their friend and help the Fisher family.Shane Smith, a friend of Fisher, said, "He was all about cars and I figured if he was here right now, he would probably like this."Fisher's friend Perry Jackson said, "It was just a nice thing to do for him and raise money for his family."The cars traveled a route through Pleasant Hills and past Fisher's childhood home before returning to the mall.
