Son Of Alleged Meth Lab Kingpin Faces Road Rage Charges

A Sandy Lake man faces charges in a road rage incident that spanned 20 miles this weekend.

Police said Rockne Barber Jr., 38, chased three people across Mercer County roadways.

Once he caught up to them, Barber allegedly rammed the victims’ vehicle twice and forced it off the road, police said.

Barber is the son of Rockne Barber Sr., who police said was a key player in a $1 million underground meth lab operation.

The operation was just recently busted by police in their “Operation Cave-In” investigation in Venango County.

Police said Barber Jr. was arrested at home and placed in Mercer County Jail on $10,000 bail.
