NORTH FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A dry cleaners clerk in North Franklin Township was able to escape a robber this week by locking herself in a backroom.

According to police, the robber, armed with a brick, went after the clerk. The woman locked herself in a back room and called police.

In the meantime, the robber was able to flee with about $360.

No injuries were reported.
