Financing Set For New Hill District Supermarket

PITTSBURGH -- Financing has been set up for the Kuhn's supermarket that will be built in the Hill District.Officials with the Hill House Economic Development Corporation made the announcement on Monday.The funding will close the gap for the $8.4 million market.The full-service grocery store will be built on city-owned property at Center Avenue and Heldman Street.The decision to build a supermarket in the location was proposed during a series of discussions surrounding the construction of a new arena for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
