Thieves Use Stolen Welfare Card To Buy $125 In Groceries

WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Pennsylvania State Police are searching for the people who stole a Washington County woman's welfare card earlier this month.Police said the thieves then used the stolen card to buy more than $125 worth of groceries at the Shop 'N Save in Washington, Pa.Police said the card was stolen from the Claysville-West Alexander area.Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
