NEW SEWICKLEY TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A Beaver County man has been charged with terrorizing his neighbor to try to get him to confess to a burglary. The incident allegedly happened inside the neighbor's camper.Police said John Black of New Sewickley Township bound a neighbor with duct-tape to try to get him to confess to a burglary.Black then allegedly poured gasoline over the neighbor and threatened to light him on fire unless the victim confessed to burglarizing his house. Police said they have no evidence that the neighbor was responsible for the burglary.According to police, Black eventually cut the duct tape off of the victim's wrists and ankles. The neighbor said he was then ordered by Black to walk outside of the camper and to remove his clothing. The neighbor believes Black took his clothing so police wouldn't be able to prove the his allegations against Black.Neighbors were shaken up by the incident."It's scary. I really want to know the full story of what happened," said David Grimes."I'm scared. I really am pretty shaken about this," said Teresa Lawrence.Black's charges include burglary, criminal trespass, aggravated assault, unlawful restraint, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, terroristic threats and stalking.
