Christina Korbe was taken to the hospital with stomach pains Tuesday night. She will then be transported to the Allegheny County Jail charged with killing an FBI agent.

Wednesday morning, 33 year-old special agent Samuel Hicks, along with other federal and local law enforcement officers, went to the home of 39 year-old Robert Korbe in Indiana Township to serve a drug warrant.

According to the criminal complaint, detectives knocked on the door, announced who they were, then rammed the door. Once they gained entry, Agent Hicks was the first go inside. A single gunshot was fired from inside the residence when Hicks made a left turn. He shouted, "I'm hit!" and fell to the ground.

Police said they found Richard Korbe leaving a back door and arrested him.

Christina Korbe called 911. She stated on the phone call that she believed her home was being burglarized and she shot at an intruder with her .38 caliber gun.

According to the complaint, Korbe states she was in her second floor bedroom and never heard police announce themselves. She stated she retrieved her gun from a closet, stood at the top of the stairs and fired a single shot down the stairs.

Robert Korbe blamed law enforcement for the shooting, telling Channel 11 news crews, "They shot their own guy."

Christine Korbe's attorney, Sumner Parker said, "At six in the morning it was apparently a very chaotic situation and she's there in the house with a 10 year-old daughter and a 5 year-old son."

Samuel Hicks joined the FBI in March of 2007.

He leaves behind a wife and a 3 year-old son.

Robert Korbe will appear in federal court on Monday.

His wife Christine will be arrigned when she's released from the hospital.
