Arrest Made In Deadly Uptown Shooting

PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh police have made an arrest in a deadly shooting in the city’s Uptown section.It happened around 12:30 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Stevenson Street.According to homicide detectives, a Duquesne University officer was patrolling Watson Street when he observed a man, later identified as 27-year-old Jonathan Brown, fire a gun and run toward Pride Street.Brown was taken into custody a short time later.Police said Brown shot a 27-year-old male from Homewood during an altercation.The victim's name has not been released.Stay with Channel 11 News for new details on this story as they become available.
