PITTSBURGH -- Dozens of homeless people throughout the city are getting to spend the night in a hotel thanks to the kindness of a stranger.

An anonymous donor has partnered with the Light of Life Ministry to give the homeless a place to say on Christmas.

The man told Channel 11 that he is doing this because he would like to help people get off the streets and find jobs.

Those we spoke with are in disbelief.

Nola Brooks said, "It's just the best thing that has ever happened to me. I feel good about this. It's the best Christmas present I've ever had."

"I couldn't believe it. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before," said Victor Kulcsar.

Hotel staff report that there are currently 52 people staying in 30 rooms, and 25 additional rooms are empty and reserved. The nameless samaritan is reportedly driving the homeless from the shelter to the hotel in a car that he rented.

The man also bought a Christmas dinner for everyone at the hotel.
