Re-Trial Rescheduled For Former UPMC Doctor Arrested In Internet Sex Sting

The delayed re-trial of a suspected child predator has been delayed once again.

Kenneth Tolman, 50, a former doctor at UPMC, faces three charges of unlawful contact with a minor and illegal use of a computer.

His re-trial was scheduled to begin Monday morning. However the re-trial has been rescheduled for June 8.

Tolman was arrested after allegedly sending sexually explicit messages to an undercover agent posing as a 13-year-old girl in an online chatroom.

His first trial ended in a hung jury in January 2008.

Tolman’s new trial is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
