ACCOUNTING, OFFICE ADMINISTRATION AccountantWPXI has an immediate opportunity in our business office for a General ledger accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing journal entries, maintaining the fixed assets and film systems, reconciling accounts, preparing schedules, reports, financial statements, tax returns and schedules, and other duties as assigned. WEB Web EditorThis is a full-time, hands-on position, gathering and compiling news from a variety of outlets, including television news partners, the Internet, wire services as well as traditional news sources for publishing on the Web site, with an emphasis on delivering breaking news quickly and accurately. The focus in this position is on writing and editing stories for the Web site. Broadcast TechnicianPart-time broadcast technician needed to work in fast paced, highly automated broadcast facility. Experience in: broadcast automation, servers, satellite ingest, and automated newscast production is highly desired. The ideal candidate is computer savvy, works well under pressure, adapts to multiple changes with expert competency, has the ability to multi-task with a high degree of accuracy, and wants to be a part of a highly skilled team.
