LOYALHANNA TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Police have yet to make an arrest in the shooting deaths of three women in Westmoreland County.Three women were found shot to death in a glass shop in Loyalhanna Township Thursday evening.Channel 11’s reporter Alan Jennings said the victims were found in the shop by a relative, who then called 911.Police said the victims are Edith Tietge, 81; her sister, Doris Murphy, 69; and Murphy's daughter, Kris Murphy, 43.All worked at the office of the shop, and all had been shot in the head. Their bodies were discovered at about 6 p.m. Thursday in the Ferguson Auto Glass shop in Loyalhanna Township along Loyalhanna Dam Road.Kevin Murphy is the owner of Ferguson Auto Glass and is the son of Doris Murphy and brother to Kris Murphy, two of the victims.By Friday afternoon Channel 11's Alan Jennings had obtained copies of police warrants.According to the warrant, police requested a blood sample from Kevin Murphy so they can compare his DNA to that found on .22-caliber pistol found near the door of the shop.The warrant said the handgun used in the murders is believed to be the same gun Kevin Murphy brought to the shop this week.However, Kevin Murphy has not been named a suspect by police.Initially, police had said it appeared that the women died of carbon monoxide poisoning.State Police Trooper Jeanne Martin said all three women's bodies were found in the building’s garage bay. However, Martin also said there were visible wounds on the women's bodies.Friday night, more than 24 hours after the deaths were discovered, reporter Gordon Loesch found detectives still at the crime scene interviewing neighbors and co-workers of the women.Friday Night Police Still Interviewing Neighbors, Co-WorkersNeighbors said the last violent crime in the area happened nearly 30 years ago. Many were shocked and devastated to learn about the crimes.Loesch spoke to Chuck Modrey who has known the victims and their families for more than 30 years.Modrey said, "My heart just broke; it just burst. This close to home. And just thinking about it, it consumes your heart. Just drops you."Tom Sinclair, another neighbor, said, "Nothing like this ever happened in this area. No. This is peace and quiet out here.""My husband is friends with Kevin. He says every time he talked to Kevin they were so laid back. These were super, super nice people," said neighbor Diana Kish.The Pennsylvania State Police and the Westmoreland County Coroner's Office are investigating the deaths.VIDEO: Watch The Channel 11 News Report
