Firefighters Rescue Family, Iguana From Blaze In East Pittsburgh

EAST PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- A house fire displaced several people late Wednesday night in East Pittsburgh, firefighters said.The fire started at about 10 p.m. in a three-story duplex in the 400 block of Glosser Street.Firefighters had the fire under control in about 30 minutes.The American Red Cross said it assisted two adults and four children with food, clothing and shelter.Firefighters said they rescued several pets from the fire, including a dog, a cat and an iguana.The cause of the fire is being investigated by the fire marshal.
