Two Firefighters Injured Battling Home Fire In White Oak

Two firefighters are recovering after being hurt while battling a house fire in White Oak.

Crews were called to the scene on Rankin Road just before 1:30 p.m. Monday.

One firefighter cut his head, while the other hurt his knee.

The homeowner and her two grandsons got out safely.

The home suffered significant smoke damage.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
