Police Warn Westmoreland Co. Business Owners Of Recent Rash Of Burglaries

WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. -- State police are issuing a warning for businesses and clubs in Westmoreland County after a about a dozen break-ins were recently reported.The burglars targeted commercial buildings in Youngwood, New Stanton, East Huntingdon Township and Mount Pleasant Township.In most cases, doors were pried open or the burglars gained entry through the roof, police said. Most of the burglaries happened overnight.Police said the thieves have stolen thousands of dollars.They're urging business owners to take extra precautions.
