PITTSBURGH -- A 20-year-old Pittsburgh man has been acquitted of fatally shooting a 15-year-old boy in a fast-food drive-through lane after jurors apparently didn't believe witnesses who identified the man by his eyes alone.

The Allegheny County jury on Thursday took less than an hour to find Romeo Price not guilty in the Jan. 29, 2008, slaying of Ernest Tolliver, of East Liberty.

Authorities claimed Price fired four shots at Tolliver as he sat in the front passenger seat of his mother's car outside a KFC restaurant on North Homewood Avenue at Frankstown Avenue. His 10-year-old sister was also in the car, but she and Tolliver's mother were not physically injured.

Witnesses saw only the shooter's eyes, because he wore a skull cap and a mask. Price's attorney said that wasn't enough to convict Price.
