Police Unravel Bizarre Case After Woman Found Injured On Road

An injured woman was found unconscious late Wednesday along a Butler County road.

During the investigation, police said they unraveled a bizarre series of incidents that lead to the woman's injuries.

Authorities got a call at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday of a woman laying along Three-Degree Road in Valencia. Police said the woman was having a seizure and was taken to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment.

At the scene, officers said they found a pickup truck that might have been involved in a previous accident.

When police went to the accident scene, they determined a truck cap at the scene belonged to the truck found near the woman along Three-Degree Road.

As it turned out, police said, the woman and two men were towing a camper when it came loose. When the woman got out of the truck, the camper door hit her, and she began to have seizures, police said.

The driver of the truck was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
