Police Warn Rochester Residents Of Peeper Lurking Streets

Police are sounding a warning about a peeping tom in Rochester.

Neighbors said a man has been peering into bedroom windows.

“I’m just a little concerned of what he’s capable of,” said one victim.

Rochester police are investigating a half dozen incidents where they said a man is doing all he can to get look in on women sleeping in their homes.

Beaver County police said he uses items on porches such as chairs or buckets.

Police said he moves them during the day hoping that no one notices and comes back at night to watch.

Rochester police said it doesn’t appear that the man is a burglar, doing this to support a drug habit. They believe he's just a thrill seeker, thriving on looking at women while they sleep.

Police want residents to be aware who is wandering their streets.
