6-Week-Old Puppies Stolen From Uniontown Humane Society

UNIONTOWN, Pa. -- Police are searching for burglars who broke into the Steve Courson Humane Society of Fayette County and stole two 6-week-old dogs.The thieves broke through a basement window, police said. They then went into the lobby and punched out the glass to the front counter window.After that, a glass door leading to the area where the animals are located was broken, police said.Two black and white boxer-Lab mix puppies and dog food were stolen. Damage to the building was estimated at about $500, police said.
