2 men shot after leaving Strip District nightclub

PITTSBURGH — Two men arrived at a Pittsburgh hospital early Saturday morning after they were shot in the Strip District, police said.

Investigators determined that the men were shot in the 1600 block of Smallman Street after they left Room 16 nightclub. They were then driven to the hospital by private means, arriving about 2 a.m. %

One of the men, 27, was listed in critical condition, having been shot in his shoulder and chest. The second man, 23, was shot in his left upper arm and was in stable condition.

Police said the shooter was described as a man who was about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.

The investigation is ongoing.
