2 people flown to hospital after crash in Westmoreland County

WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. — Two people were flown to the hospital after a car accident in Bell Township.

According to Channel 11 News' exchange partner TribLive, two vehicles collided head-on along Route 380 and caught fire.

Good Samaritans pulled a man from Avonmore and a woman from Monroeville from their vehicles. They used a pressure washer to extinguish the flames.

TribLive reports that one victim sustained a traumatic head injury while the other is being treated for respiratory issues.
