EAST DEER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A two-vehicle rollover accident Wednesday morning on Route 28 closed northbound lanes in East Deer Township, Channel 11's Jennifer Tomazic reported.
The accident happened about 6 a.m. between Creighton and Tarentum. Pennsylvania State Police said both vehicles involved overturned, but no injuries were immediately reported.
As emergency crews responded to the accident, traffic delays began building and continued for several hours.
Traffic was diverted off Route 28 via the Creighton exit, Tomazic said. Drivers were then able to get back onto Route 28 in Tarentum.
