Choppers, Ambulances Called To Violent Armstrong County Crash

Authorities are investigating a violent crash that happened in Armstrong County Monday night.

The crash happened at about 9 p.m. along Market and Main streets in Leechburg.

Authorities told Channel 11 News that two cars were involved in the crash. Several ambulances and medical helicopters were called to the scene.

Medics said one woman, 27, was flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital with facial injuries. A 24-year-old woman was flown to the same hospital with potential back injuries.

There is no word on the name of the victims.
