An unidentified person was hurt in a shooting Tuesday night in Beaver Falls.

The shooting happened at about 10:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of Sixth Avenue.

Neighbors told Channel 11 News that they heard about five gunshots.

The victim, who was identified only as a male, was flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, where his condition was not available.

"I heard five gunshots from my apartment upstairs," said neighbor Darren Lawson. "And I talked to the guy 10 minutes before, about 20 minutes before all of this happened. I asked him about his dad, how was he doing."

The shooting is being investigated by Beaver Falls police.
