1 Injured In Route 30 Garbage Truck-Car Crash

LAUGHLINTOWN, Pa. -- One person was injured in a crash along Route 30 in Westmoreland County Wednesday morning.Witnesses said a garbage truck had its turn signal on when a vehicle tried to pass it on the left in Laughlintown. Witnesses said that's when the truck turned into the path of the passing car.One person was trapped in the Ford Taurus as a result of the accident.The driver of the car, whose name has not been released, was taken to a Pittsburgh area hospital by ambulance, police said.
